Moana Pasifika have locked in formidable Wallabies prop Pone Fa’amausili for the 2025 season.
Standing at 6ft 5, Fa’amausili is a devastating ball-runner who provides a boost to Moana Pasifika’s front row.
The 27-year-old was born and raised in Melbourne, Australia and is of Samoan descent. He is from the Villages of Malie and Vailoa Palauli.
Following a stint with the Melbourne Rising in the National Rugby Championship, he made his Super Rugby debut for the Melbourne Rebels in 2018.
Fa’amausili has played seven tests for Australia which included at the 2023 Rugby World Cup.
He said: “I’m extremely excited at the opportunity ahead with Moana Pasifika, to be able to share my knowledge and experiences and also learn from a talented group of men. Being able to learn from a coach like Tana is really exciting for myself.”
