Moana Pasifika’s most-capped player, William Havili has re-signed for the 2026 DHL Super Rugby Pacific season.
The 26-year-old returns for his fifth campaign with the club and with 49 appearances to his name, is set for his 50th match milestone next year.
Havili excelled this year as the primary fullback, showcasing his ability to make swift decisions under pressure and his strong defensive skills while creating opportunities for his team.
A consistent and reliable presence, Havili’s leadership also shined with his experience helping pave the way for the young backline.
“I’m looking forward to building on the year we just had and really excited for next year to see what this team can do,” the Tasman Mako and Tongan International said. “We’re looking to break into top six and win a title.
“I’ve loved seeing the culture and fan base build from the first year until now and it really excites me for 2026 to see our fans back at North Harbour Stadium.”
Head coach Fa’alogo Tana Umaga said: “Willi was a standout for us this year and really stepped up as a leader. He made an impact whenever he was on the field and has been an integral part of this club’s development.
“We’re excited for him to continue his journey with us next year.”
