Innovative steel fabrication business Black Steel Mobile Ltd has become the latest Pasifika-owned business to join the Moana Pasifika sponsorship aiga.

Established in 1995 and purchased in 2020 by Samoan Civil Engineer and entrepreneur Tau’ili’ili Fatu Fuatavai, the company has continued to grow in popularity and employs a large, dedicated Pasifika workforce.

Moana Pasifika Chief Executive Officer Pelenato Sakalia is proud to be partnering with Black Steel Mobile ltd for the 2023 Season.

As a Super Rugby franchise, we are always looking at ways to be innovative in our delivery on and off the field and it’s great to see Pasifika-owned businesses applying that same mentality to their respective industries.”

Black Steel Mobile Ltd Managing Director Tau’ili’ili Fatu Fuatavai is heavily involved in the Samoan community having held various roles including Church Deacon, Chairman of the New Zealand Samoan Trade Investment Commission and employer to over 170 staff across multiple businesses.

Fuatavai is excited about forming a partnership with Moana Pasifika. “Black Steel Mobile Ltd is proud to partner with Moana Pasifika for the 2023 season of DHL Super Rugby Pacific.
