Moana Pasifika is pleased to welcome ASICS as their Official Footwear Sponsor for the 2023 DHL Super Rugby Pacific Season.

The players and coaching staff were ecstatic to be fitted with position-specific boots, performance runners and stylish lifestyle shoes.
The partnership extends beyond the rugby field with the Moana Pasifika Community team driving ASICS desire to get our communities moving through their RunKeeper app.
Kihachiro Onitsuka founded ASICS in 1949 to realise his desire to nurture the youth of Japan through sports and contribute to the development of society. Their founding philosophy of “Amina Sana In Corpore Sano (A Sound Mind in a Sound Body)” represents ASICS’ wish that people all over the world will live healthful and happy lives in both body and mind.

On February 25th Moana Pasifika players will run out on to Mount Smart Stadium in their season opener against the Fijian Drua, proudly wearing their ASICS boots. Brand and Sports Marketing Manager Jason Niles is jubilant about the partnership and upcoming season.
