On 30 March 2024, Eden Park is the place to be if you want to witness what is set to be an exciting Super Rugby Pacific clash between Moana Pasifika and The Blues.

For Moana Pasifika CEO Pelenato Sakalia, Eden Park is a befitting venue to host a match between twoSuper Rugby teams with the biggest pacific representation. “The opportunity to play a home game at the iconic Eden Park in the heart of Tāmaki Makaurau is incredibly exciting. Auckland City is home to the largest Polynesian conglomerate in the world and we are excited to bring our communities together in a celebration of rugby at New Zealand’s premier stadium.”
“With an afternoon kick-off time and affordable tickets, we hope to see punters turn up in numbers to celebrate our Pacific prowess on and off the field. Moana Pasifika fans will feel a sense of familiatiry upon entering Eden Park, greeted by a 3 metres high, 4.2 metres wide statute of their Chairman and 55-test All Black La’auli Savae Sir Michael Jones. The impressive sculpture depicts a young Jones diving across the try line at the inaugural 1987 Rugby World Cup, in a moment that inspired fans all around the world.
