Moana Pasifika is excited to announce their fixtures for the 2026 DHL Super Rugby Pacific season, which launches with a game against the Fijian Drua at Churchill Park in Lautoka on Valentine’s Day.
It’s always a highly anticipated match on the calendar with the two fierce Pacific rivals battling it out for cultural pride.
This isn’t the only game the team will play in the Islands, with Moana Pasifika travelling to the Kingdom of Tonga to play the Chiefs in Round 9, putting on a show for their loyal fans who have been eagerly awaiting another Super Rugby spectacle at Teufaiva Stadium.
Early in the season in Round 2, newest recruit and Tongan midfield phenom Ngani Laumape makes his return to Wellington to face his former Hurricanes team-mates for the first time in a Moana uniform.
On Sunday 15th March, Auckland’s favourite clash of the year returns with Moana Pasifika facing cross town rivals the Blues in Auckland. It’s guaranteed to be full of intense passion and high stakes.
Round six calls Moana Pasifika home to their fortress of North Harbour Stadium, where they won four out of five games in 2025. They’ll host the Crusaders on Saturday 21st March in a re-match of their historic win last season, defeating the reigning champions 45-29.
Moana Pasifika will play the Waratahs in Sydney in Round 10 and the Highlanders in Super Round at One New Zealand Stadium in Christchurch, before returning to North Harbour to take on the Blues on Saturday 2nd May.
Round 15 sees Moana Pasifika host the Reds for the first time at North Harbour Stadium. This is followed by their final game of the regular season against the Brumbies at GIO Stadium on Saturday 30th May.
Moana Pasifika are ready to make even bigger waves in 2026. Whether over the North Shore, across the Tasman or in Tonga, they’ll continue to represent the people.
