Moana Pasifika’s round ten clash with the Western Force tomorrow has unfortunately been postponed due to COVID-19 cases in the Force camp.
It has been an evolving situation and we have been exploring every option to ensure the game could go ahead. However, the best interests of the health and wellbeing of the Force players and staff must come first. The Super Rugby Pacific Medical Advisory Group have decided to postpone the match due to many the Force squad being unavailable for selection.
SANZAAR is now working with all stakeholders to find a suitable date for the postponed match. We will keep you updated on the details of the rescheduled game.
We wish the Force make a full and speedy recovery and look forward to meeting them on the field soon.
The players and coaching team are now focused on our next match scheduled against the Rebels in Melbourne on 30 April at AAMI Park.
In just two short weeks, we look forward to hosting the largest home game event with fans and supporters at Mt Smart Stadium, Auckland, for the match against the Waratahs on 7 May.
