NZ’s largest Easter Egg-Stravaganza ahead of Moana Pasifika v Blues

This Saturday afternoon’s DHL Super Rugby Pacific match between Moana Pasifika and the Blues will follow New Zealand’s largest Easter Egg-Stravaganza.

With 5,000 Whittaker’s mini chocolates up for grabs, fans coming to watch the game are encouraged to arrive early to join in the fun ahead of the highly anticipated battle of the 09.

Seven giant easter eggs have been hidden around Eden Park, with delicious mini chocolate bars given out as rewards when they’re found. It encapsulates the theme of an Easter weekend festival with various activities and entertainment pre-match, before the stage is set for a must-see clash celebrating Pasifika excellence.

Moana Pasifika CEO Pelenato Sakalia said: “We’re excited to have fun Easter activities and family friendly entertainment in the build up to our home game. It will add to the carnival atmosphere and we hope as many people come along to join in the festivities.”

Eden Park CEO Nick Sautner said: “With an afternoon kick-off time and affordable tickets, we are expecting a strong turnout. This is more than just a rugby match; it’s a celebration of Polynesian culture and we’re delighted to bring our communities together at New Zealand’s national stadium.” 

The Easter hunt is open to all ticket holders and will start when gates open at 3pm. 

Tickets to the match are $10 for adults and $5 for children.
