From the deep South of Otago, Abraham Pole is another member of the inaugural Moana Pasifika squad from 2022. The bruising front-rower made his Super Rugby Pacific debut for the Crusaders in 2022. Representing Otago in the NPC, Pole was a highly sought after prospect out of Otago Boys and was named in a star-studded New Zealand Secondary Schools team in 2017. Standing at 1.88m and 120kg, the powerful prop forward has always been a strong ball runner and defender and is only continuing to elevate his game now with two years’ experience under his belt.
