Feleti Sae-Ta’ufo’ou is proud of his Samoan and Tongan heritage. He attended Palmerston North Boys’ High School and was a member of the Manawatū Academy.

Sae-Ta’ufo’ou has represented Manawatū since 2023. He joined Moana Pasifika as a replacement player for the 2025 season and impressed coaches with his strength and technical proficiency in the scrum. He earned a regular starting spot and played consistently well, dominating opponents with his physical presence and determination.

This included an incredible hat-trick in Moana Pasifika’s win over the Waratahs in Round 8.

Faith is a huge part of Sae-Ta’ufo’ou’s life and he continues to be inspired by it both on and off the field.
