Fine Inisi is a powerhouse who has grown in confidence and become a regular in Moana Pasifika’s starting lineup.

Despite spending the start of the 2024 season out with injury, Fine returned with all guns blazing, playing the best rugby of his young career.

A fan favourite, he played in nine matches and scored four tries, showcasing his blistering footwork and formiddable fend.

He and younger brother Lotu were joint recipients of Moana Pasifika’s Fans’ Player of the Year Award for 2024. The duo have played in every professional rugby team together. From playing on the ‘Ikale Tahi 15s and 7s teams, to North Harbour and the New Zealand Warriors Under 20s side.

Inisi was also part of the Westlake Boys High School First XV team and made his debut for the ‘Ikale Tahi 15s side in 2021 against New Zealand.

At 19 Inisi went on his mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Philippines where he lived for two years.
