Born in Moto’otua, Manu Samoa international James Lay joins Moana Pasifika’s front row in 2024. The reliable prop makes his way to the team after winning 12 caps with the Auckland Blues, debuting in 2020.

The 29-year-old is 1.78 m tall, weighs 118kg, and can play on both sides of the scrum, putting him in top company among front rowers.
