Kyren Taumoefolau was a standout performer in 2024 signing on as a development player and impressing with his stunning pace and confidence to get involved. He was given the opportunity to play for the senior side making the most of every chance he got to play.
He played for the ‘Ikale Tahi in both the 15s and 7s sides before making his Super Rugby debut for Moana Pasifika in a win over the Fijian Drua at Super Round.
The rising star was part of Tonga’s 2023 Rugby World Cup campaign and was their top try-scorer in their Hamilton and Sydney legs of the 2023 HSBC Sevens Circuit.
After a breakout year with Moana Pasifika, he was called up to the Tasman Mako.
The former Marlborough Boys College student came through Moana Pasifika’s Under 20s pathway.
