Loose Forward
Lotu Inisi is a walking highlight reel, coming off his best season in 2024.
He finished 8th in the competition for the most defenders beaten (44) in the regular season, and was the only forward in this category. Inisi also took home three individual awards at Moana Pasifika’s Prize-giving including Forward of the Year, Attacker of the Year and Players’ Player of the Year.
The towering number 8 is a ferocious ball runner that is near impossible to stop one-on-one.
In his first season of Super Rugby in 2023, Inisi averaged 15 carries a game. His involvement with ball in hand was among the highest in the competition per 80 minutes.
Through consistently putting up exceptional performances, Inisi doubled the number of games he played from 2023 to 2024 with 12.
Inisi attended Westlake Boys High School in Auckland’s North Shore and was part of the First XV team. He made his debut for the ‘Ikale Tahi in 2022 against Fiji, and is also eligible to play for Samoa through his mother.
On debut for Moana Pasifika in 2022, he scored a try to seal victory over the Brumbies in their final game of the season.
