Ola Tauelangi was born and raised in Victoria and only began playing rugby at the age of 16. Now in his first season with Moana Pasifika, the new signee was selected to the Melbourne Rebels Academy in 2019 and went on to represent Melbourne’s NRC team that same year while also playing for Melbourne University. With experience playing for the Rebels A side in 2020, Tauelangi made his name in Sydney playing in the Shute Shield. Tauelangi was a star for Gordon in 2021, earning him a pre-season contract with the NSW Waratahs.
