In recent years, Moli has elevated his game to become one of the top players in his position across the competition. The Tasman native by way of Marlborough Boy’s has earned 15 appearances for the Mako’s, with his form in the NPC earning him an international debut for the ‘Ikale Tahi in 2021. Samiuela Moli hails from the villages of Te’ekiu (Tongatapu) and Leimatu’a (Vava’u) in Tonga. Moli is now an established member of the Moana Pasifika identity and now coupled with his experience in the red jersey of Tonga, 2024 is likely to be another big year for the versatile hooker.
