Making his way to New Zealand’s shores from Havering, England is lock Tom Savage. With over 170 appearances for Gloucester Rugby in England’s Premiership competition, Savage has been playing in Japan for the Suntory Sungoliath since 2019.
The 34-year-old will offer strong mentorship in the locking department, and will also provide great insight and teachings into a different brand of rugby. The six foot six second rower is a veteran of the game that will be a great general for Moana Pasifika’s forward pack.
