Full Back/Fly-Half
Reliable and dynamic playmaker William Havili owned the number 10 jersey in 2024, showing his growth throughout his last three years with Moana Pasifika.
Hailing from Motueka in the Tasman District, he attended Nelson College and plays for the Mako and for the ‘Ikale Tahi internationally.
Making his debut for the Mako in 2018 as an injury replacement, he was named in the squad as a development player in 2021.
He’s become a pillar of the Moana Pasifika lineup and can seamlessly switch between fly-half and fullback.
Havili also possesses an excellent kicking game and plays well under pressure. Against the Reds in Round 8 of the 2024 season, he crossed the line for the game-winning try in the 79th minute.
He is the younger brother of All Black David Havili.
