South Auckland star Alamanda Motuga returns for his third season with Moana Pasifika. Alamanda Motuga began his professional career on the international HSBC Sevens circuit representing his home nation of Samoa. Conjuring 36 appearances in the Sevens code, Motuga was a member of the Samoan team that won the 2016 Paris Sevens. Motuga’s athleticism and power also led to him making his debut for the fifteen-man Manu Samoa team in the 2019 Pacific Nations Cup against Tonga. Hailing from the villages of Satoa and Sa’anapu in Samoa, Motuga continues to fly the flag of his nation under Moana Pasifika.
