By way of Two Blues Australia, Otumaka Mausia is a 15-test Tongan international. The dual playmaker has a powerful kicking game with the ability to distribute the ball, a style of play cut from the same cloth as fellow pivot’s William Havili and Christian Lealiifano.
Mausia comes from the villages of Ha’ateiho (Tongatapu) and Longomapu (Vava’u) in Tonga and has a great amount of experience playing alongside the fellow Tongan internationals in Moana Pasifika, which will be a great tool for him as the on-field navigator for Moana Pasifika.
The 26-year-old has a bright future ahead of him and is capable of taking his game to the next level under Stephen Jones in 2024.
